Cascata at MiraLago celebrates the best of community living: light-filled, freeflowing homes; luxurious finishes and appointments; a broad range of amenities for every family member; and a coveted location in one of Florida’s most desirable destinations. Community features include:

Cassata at Parkland

The crime rate in the Parkland area is low but there is a high rate of theft and burglary; luckily, Cascata is a gated community and has a security staff. There is a Home Owners Association at Cascata that helps pay for everything and dues range from $529 for the smaller houses and around $650 for the larger square footage.

Families with younger kids have plenty of options when it comes to schools in the area. Heron Heights Elementary is located about six minutes away and provides a unique learning experience through “multiage” classes, blending two age groups and grades to help inspire and teach the younger kids. There are also two private elementary schools in the area: Mary Help of Christian (10 minutes away) and Kol Tikvah (10 minutes away). There is only one middle school Westglade Middle and highschool Marjory Stoneman Douglas both about eight minutes away. But if you want to stay closer to home, there are two proposed school sites within the community of Cascata.

Parkland also has several restaurants in the area if you are looking to take a break from cooking or want to go out on date night. Déjà Blue is a café, restaurant and bar located on University Drive. This is the perfect stop if you can’t decide what you want to eat; serving up Italian, French, Spanish, Middle Eastern, North African and Greek along with a full bar. Other restaurants are located a little farther away as the area around Cascata is mostly residential.

The average one-way commute is about half an hour and only a small number of people carpool which could add to your morning commute.
