Parkland Bay Parkland 33076 New Construction
If you are looking for a fresh start with a brand-new home, look no farther than the Parkland Bay resort community located around Parkland’s largest lake. This development features five different collections of houses: Waterfront, Signature, Classic, Estates and Executive. Since most of the houses are still under construction or haven’t been started yet, you don’t have to worry about previous owners and can make the house your own. If you are looking to move in sooner than later, there are two homes that will be move-in ready in January of 2019.
There are also nine new plans available for houses that haven’t been built yet along with the ones currently under construction. The Estate Collection homes range from $612,990 to $789,270 and sit from 2,677 to 4,240 square feet. The homes in the Executive Collection are 2,254 to 3,597 square feet and the prices range from $543,990 to $848,830. The Classic Collection prices range from $679,990 to $924,990 and span 3,231 to 5,913 square feet. The houses in the Waterfront Collection are the largest and most expensive ranging from $779,990 to $1,120,990 and have 4,076 to 6,632 square feet.
Houses in the collections will have three to five bedrooms and be one or two stories tall.
The architecture style of these homes fits in well with their bright walls, tiled roofs and sun covered lanais. The houses are built in the Spanish, Mediterranean and Italian styles.
One of the most luxurious amenities of this community is the clubhouse which will be 16,000 square feet when finished. The clubhouse will contain a grand lobby, a culinary and demonstration café, a pavilion with a bar, a fitness center and a meeting room. And on those long summer nights, residents can enjoy sitting around the fire pit or a late-night swim in the pool overlooking the 178-acre lake. Kids and adults can stay active by playing on the tennis courts, swimming in the lap pool, or playing on the playground.
There are several public schools near Parkland Bay for kids living in the community. For elementary kids there’s Heron Heights and Park Trails, middle schoolers can go to Westglades Middle and high school age kids can go to Marjory Stoneman Douglas. There are also two private schools Mary Help of Christians Catholic School which is Pre-K through 8th grade, and Kol Tikvah a Jewish school for Kindergarten through 12th grade.
The commutes to the area are a little long with a one-way commute of about 30 minutes. But there are plenty of places to shop and eat nearby for when you want to get out of the house. The crime rate in Parkland is low with a high number of thefts, but residents can feel secure with the community’s gate and guardhouse.
